You just birthed your sweet bundle of joy & now have this beautiful baby to take care of. After returning from the hospital, your Postpartum Doula arrives just when it’s about to get dark outside. She sits down beside you as your baby just starts to cry, showing you their hunger cues and what some feeding signs could look like. She helps you get comfortable so you can create a great latch, or has you sit back & relax as she prepares a bottle. She goes over tips regarding nursing or pace feeding — setting you up for success for every feed! After she points out some signs that baby is full and content, she gently swaddles baby & helps him/her gracefully go back to sleep. After she answers any questions you may have, you’re then able to go to bed with a trusted Doula caring for your baby. You look forward to getting a little bit more of uninterrupted sleep as you feel more confident & supported in your new title, mom.
